Congrats! And to see a catfish in a poem makes my day.

by the by, the Bush war $$$ ticker gives me the worst feeling on the inside and I so appreciate you posting it. I think the reminder that we're at war needs to be on every American's mind until we are out of Iraq.

Peace,
Kelli

Cindy~ Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.

Fran~ Thank you, yes, by all means, come back and visit.

Kevin~ Thank you, there is a funny story behind where this poem ended up going - hence the last stanza.

Kelli~ Always glad to make someone's day ;)

As to the Iraq ticker, this war has so many different price tags besides the monetary one. We've paid a very high price in terms of loss of credibility in the world, damage to our foreign policy, loss of American lives, Loss of innocent Iraqi lives, destruction of what infrastructure they had, loss of stability in the region, and growing hatred of America abroad. None of this had to happen or should have. Our children and their children will be paying for this war. (why do I think I just un-made your day?)

Ivy!! Yeah right back at ya! You've got so much going on, you wow me.

Damn, kind words from so many poets that rock! What a day! :)
