i agree. before persistent rationalization kicks in, we are at the mercy of the icy finger slicing down the spine, the frenzied flitting of butterflies caged in the stomach, the calculated crawling of the wind against the skin... the vacuum of a gasp, followed by the symphony of a sigh.
