Magpie Tales # 54 - Poem: Title Forgotten

Title Forgotten

You are pieces of places
remote in my mind
puzzling and forced

into blank spaces
black holes in time
splintered edges

people of vagueness
foggy names
fuzzy going blank

what was I going to say
what were we talking
about?

'forced into blank spaces' ... frightening words, I don't want to go there. Nicely written Michael!

Some memories feel like this until something or someone initiates a spark and it comes back fragmented, tormenting...until it is worked out or forgotten again. Very nice Magpie.

I felt like this one could be the onset of Alzheimer's or a complacent married couple, just as frightening.

I would hope that it was merely a temporary loss of memory because the alternative is frightening. So well said.
