Sheryl Crow has reportedly dropped from the Paris LIVE 8 Concert due to what she called "substantial logistical and personal challenges." Her own internet site urges her fans to support the concert and objectives of The ONE Campaign. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake has been added to the lineup of the Live 8 concert in Philadelphia.

sheryl crow reall needs to get her priorities straight. there's more going on in the world than her romance with lance.

Just a couple of thoughts for the two anonymous posters. BTW, I'm not fond of anonymous postings. On Foetry or anywhere else. If you don't have a blogger id get one or at lest give us a first name when you post.
I certainly don't know what constitutes "substantial logistical and personal challenges." She, like everyone else involved has the right to choose their level of involvement.
I have a daughter who is a racing cyclist so I am well aware of the Le Tour de France timing and that was my first thought. But my daughter pointed out to me, "if" (and we don't know what the "if" is) - it is the race, she would have known a year ago the date of the race... well before making the committment to the concert.
Personally, I shouldn't think the concert would be a big logistical issues for the race anyway since she was to do the Paris concert.
An any rate, if it turns out to be the race, I suspect she will take a bit of a negative publicity hit. But again, these are her choices.
